Rust Easter 2025 Update: Egg Hunts and New Costumes
Easter Hunt Event
April 10th - April 24th, 2025
Rust's Easter event kicks off with an exciting egg hunt running from April 10th to April 24th, 2025. Every 24-38 in-game hours, players can participate in a three-minute egg hunt. The top three players will receive special eggs that can be cracked open for loot, ranging from scrap to an M249.
Players not in the top three can still upgrade their collected painted eggs to bronze, silver, and eventually gold by collecting sets of ten. Helpful items like the Easter Basket for instant egg pickup and the Bunny Onesie and Ears, which offer Egg Vision, enhance the hunting experience.
Horse Costume DLC
This Easter introduces the Horse Costume, a new DLC attire available for a limited time. This lower body wearable item can be crafted with cloth and wood and comes in three variants.
Cargo Rustige Egg
Players can also enjoy the aquatic-themed Cargo Rustige Egg, featuring the Cargoship and RHIB patrol boat. This unique item is available for a limited time in the Rust item store.
Easter Store
Chicken Costume
The popular Chicken Costume returns, crafted with cloth and wood. This lower body attire is available in the Rust item store.
