Christmas Event Details
As you explore the island, listen for the sound of jingle bells. This is your cue to search for gifts scattered around your location. Each player will find two gifts spawned within a 40-meter radius. These presents come in small, medium, and large sizes, and you can combine smaller gifts to upgrade to larger ones. Inside, you'll find a mix of resources, weapons, and Christmas candy.

Santa hats, reindeer antlers, and the candy cane club return, providing protection and festive flair. Hang stockings in your base to receive loot each time the bells ring, with larger stockings offering better items. The event runs until January 2nd, 19:00 GMT / 14:00 EST.
Advent Calendar
The advent calendar is back, allowing players to claim a daily in-game surprise from December 16th. Craft and deploy this item to enjoy daily rewards throughout the event.

Rustmas Store and Decoration Contest
The Rustmas Store has returned, featuring items from previous years. Notably, the festive garland pack now includes a double door garland. If you've already purchased it, you can craft this new addition. Visit the Rust Item Store to explore the offerings.
Base Decoration Contest
The annual Rustmas Base Decorating Competition is back! Showcase your creativity by decorating your base with a festive theme. The winner receives £120 worth of skins and two Rust DLC/Items, while the runner-up gets £75 worth of skins and one DLC/Item. Submit your entries on X/Twitter with the hashtag #Rustmas2024 by January 2nd, 2025.
