Quality of Life Changes
Peacekeeper Turret Hostile Indicator
A turret icon now appears next to the hostile indicator when near a peacekeeper auto turret.
Workcart Storage
All Workcarts now have a small storage box for extra loot.
Waterpump Depth Change
Waterpumps now function with shallower water, ideal for new rivers.
Propane Tank Stack Size
Propane tanks can now stack up to 20.
Dropbox Input Increase
Increased to 4 input slots.
Junkpile Despawn
Junkpiles can now despawn after partial looting.
Fridge Storage
Fridge storage increased to 48 slots.
Homing Missiles
Homing missiles have been added to Bradley and attack helicopter loot crates.
Wolf Packs Balancing
Improvements have been made to wolf encounters, addressing issues with fire effectiveness, wolf jumping, and pack sizes.
The Problems
Fire was less effective than expected against wolves, and they would follow players for long distances. Wolves could make unrealistic jumps, and packs could merge, overwhelming players.
Closing Words
Details on these improvements can be found in the patch notes.
Electricity QOL
Tesla Coil
Reduced maximum power usage from 35 to 25.
Storage Monitor
Added a passthrough slot.
Elevators Speed
Increased speed by 50% for player-placed elevators.
Battery Full Charge Indicator
Added an output slot for full charge indication.
Modular Car Radios
Modular car radios are now craftable for 120 metal fragments if you own the Voice Props Pack. Place them in your modular car's cockpit. The radio operates while the engine is on and offers built-in and internet radio stations.

Helicopter Shredding
Purchased helicopters can be shredded at the Junkyard for Scrap based on type and health.
- Minicopter - 200 Scrap
- Scrap Transport Helicopter - 300 Scrap
- Attack Helicopter - 500 Scrap

Upgradable High External Walls & Gates
Wooden high external walls and gates can now be upgraded to stone versions. Stone walls craft in batches of three, requiring 1 sheet metal per craft.

Vending Machine Statistics
Vending machines now offer transaction history and statistics, including total sales and unique customers.
- Transaction History
- Highest Revenue Items
- Best Sold Items
Server owners can use new Convars to manage these stats.
Legacy Shelter Revoke
Placing a new Legacy Shelter will destroy the old one. Shelters now take a few seconds to place.

Variable Zoom Scope
The 16x scope is now the "variable zoom scope" with 4x, 8x, and 16x zoom levels. Default keybinds are 'Page Up' and 'Page Down'.

Scrap Exchange Vendor Changes
Dynamic pricing now applies to items sold for Scrap. Prices start at 50% less value and can increase to 100% if no items are sold.

Underwater Visibility
Underwater visibility is nearly doubled, and players can sink deeper before oxygen depletion.

Risky Landmine Disarming
Landmines now have a 15% chance to explode when disarmed by another player.

Node Sparkle Changes
Nodes no longer show a sparkle before the first hit, aligning with the tree X marker minigame and reducing server entities.
Queue Improvements
Clients now know when they enter and exit queues, with Steam rich presence for queues. Modded servers can customize loading screen tips.

RCON Security Enhancements
RCON security has been improved with warnings for insecure passwords and safeguards against brute force attacks. New convars allow for IP banning and logging.
Native ARM64 Hardware Support
Rust now supports native ARM64 on Apple Silicon hardware. Intel support remains unaffected. Future ARM64 support for Windows laptops is under consideration.
Built-In Server Profiler
A built-in server profiler is now available for public use, allowing server owners to analyze performance. Currently, it's only available for Windows servers.
